ABOUT

The Alexander Technique Congress Association (ATCA) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered in England and Wales.

Our mission is to provide a dynamic platform for the enrichment, advancement, and deeper understanding of the F. M. Alexander Technique.

Through the Alexander Technique International Congress we promote respect for the different branches of Alexander practice. ATCA also safeguards valuable assets such as trademarks, website domain names, content, and other intellectual property associated with organising International Congresses. Our evolution from ad hoc committees to a charitable organisation in Switzerland, and subsequently as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation based in England, reflects our commitment to effective governance and transparency. The entire ATCA Board consists of 11 members who are experienced Alexander Teachers and some of whom are former Congress Directors, draws upon a diverse range of skills and expertise. With representation across the USA, the UK, and Europe, we strive to serve as a central hub for the contemporary Alexander Technique community.

Regulated by the Charity Commission of England and Wales (registration number 1192471), the ATCA Trustees comprise four members of the Board.
